The School, designated as SGH (Super Global High school) by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 2015, has finally entered the crucial stage of 2nd year.
About SGH
Seifunankai Gakuen SGH aims to foster global leaders who can respond to the rapid progress of "globalization" of society.
What is SGH?
Considering the rapid progress of "globalization" of our society, SGH aims to nurture global leaders who can act on the international stage, contributing to solving global issues in cooperation with domestic universities, companies or international organizations.
Therefore, students need to be interested in the challenges our society is facing, have a wide range of knowledge , acquire various skills, such as communication skills and problem solving skills.
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has designated high schools which develop and practice high-quality curricula for this purpose as "Super Global High School."
The designated period is 5 years. In 2014, 56 schools (246 applicant schools), in 2015, 56 schools (190 applicant schools), and in 2016, 11 schools (114 applicant schools) were designated.
